PLEASE HELP US PRODUCE MORE PREACHERS!

PLEASE RECRUIT AND SUPPORT BIBLE STUDENTS!

Our students-preachers at CPI are doing well.

Our students-preachers at CPI are doing well.

Jonathan Faldas, married with two daughters, continues to help in Calamba Parian congregation which is increasing membership. He also assists smaller congregations in Mayapa, in Cabuyao, (next town). He also assists our newest planted house church in Bambang, Los Banos. Sometimes, he would end up handling four services on Sundays. He brings with him two young men in his activities. We are hoping that they too will be preachers later.

Jesse Pagarao, married and a grandfather now, ministers to the Piela congregation He finally baptized the husbands of two wives baptized earlier. Three more were baptized with them. He is our cooperative organizer.

Alex Acero, married with 4 grown up children, preaches on Sundays to congregations assigned to him.

Cenon Balatero, married with three children, is our field worker in Calauan, Laguna where newly planted church is.

Lloyd Pagarao, single, assists the Salawag congregation who just lost their preacher. In the afternoon, he joins the worship at Gen.Trias congregation.

Rey Bangalan assists Gen.Trias congregation.

Nick Gomez was assisting the Tanza Church of Christ with Gerry Superiano.

While studying they are already useful in the vineyard. The other students are active in their home congregations who support them.

APPEAL AND REPORTS

November, 2010

Hello. I am excited to report because there have been seven (7) baptisms lately.
Wow! Our efforts are once more bearing fruit by the grace of God. And these all happened in the last week of November.
On Nov.25, I dismissed my classes earlier than usual to assist our student preacher, Jesse Pagarao, 52 years old, in baptizing three from Piela congregation. (We send bro. Jesse to the place for his week end preaching assignment).Baptized were his wife, and two more housewives. Two husbands were
supposed to be baptized with their wives but they did not come home on time.
Also on November 29, I baptized three (3) young people during the congregational outing of the Salawag Church of Christ. They are, Marie, Vincent and Arthur King. Arthur King is one of our students at Church Planting Institute.
And the next day, November 30, Jonas Tubera, whose wedding I had officiated a week earlier, was also baptized by our associate preacher at Metro South congregation. We did the baptism during the congregational outing.
Another good thing to be reported is the start of worship of two new congregations. On Nov.7, we were scheduled to have our first worship in Calauan, a town, south of Manila, which is more than 2 hours drive from our house. Our graduating student, Cenon Balatero, goes there to do evangelism and hold
worship services on Sundays and we assist.
On Nov.7, I was also invited as a speaker in a home of Salawag member’s relative in Los Banos. We attended the worship service at 6PM after the worship in Calauan. We found out, it was also a beginning of a new congregation. We made arrangement for our student preacher in the next town, Jonathan Faldas, will assist them in their Sunday worship. I will also assist from time to time. (By the way, We were told that a lady decided to be baptized that Sunday that I preached there and was baptized the following Sunday.
We also have resumed classes at Church Planting Institute (C.P.I.) and at Phil. Int’l.Bible Institute (P.I.B.I.). At C.P.I. we have ten (10) full-time students and one part-time.(two new full-time students). We wish we can admit more students.
We were also able to organize an inter-congregational worship on Oct.31 and a seminar on discipleship from Nov.1-2.

We also have transferred the goats of the school. We lost 5 does and 5 kids in their old place. We hope they will be ok in the new place. Success in goat raising is still a dream. I was hoping, goat raising will help support the school.
Please continue to pray for us and the Lord’s work here.We appreciate all the prayers and support.
In His service,
Bonifacio C.Patricio Jr.

APRIL 2010 NEWS

Greetings. I am grateful for this opportunity to let you know what’s going on in the Lord’s work here in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas , Quezon and Rizal.(Places where I am involved now).

In Metro Manila, I continue to be involved with my home congregation which is the Metro South Church of Christ in Makati/Pasay City. (I serve in the evangelism committee).I still meet with fellow leaders of the churches in Metro Manila, once a month and have door knocking and a meeting after wards. We talk about common programs/plans like; Youth Camp, National Evangelism Workshop /Seminar, inter-congregational worship and fellowship, and even our work inside the Bureau of Corrections. I also still assist and visit congregations whenever they have problems. I spoke on Sundays when I am invited. (I always work with the established leadership of congregations).

In Cavite,I am directing the Church Planting Institute, (CPI), located in the city of Dasmarinas. This is now our 4th year of operation. We have 9 students. School supports 6. There are 7 teachers, who are volunteers except for one. We are sending our students to four (4) congregations that don’t have preachers. (One is a newly planted congregation).I am now attending services at Salawag cong. almost every other Sunday, since the full-time preacher left.

In Laguna,I am involved with a newly planted church in Parian, Calamba. This is the result of a relief operation we did to flood victims last December 2009. There are now around 30 adult members. One of our students serves as the preacher. We are in the process of acquiring a lot where a church’s building. And another work now is being started in Calauan, Laguna. We have visited the place many times, befriended the people and did a rice and tracts distribution recently. There is an opportunity for the church to own a lot for the building.

In Batangas, together with co-teachers, I still go to Phil. International Bible Institute (Director is Charles Smith), to teach every Friday. During the day, we visit churches/members around. Seven students are on fieldwork. (We have 6 new students). They are assigned to congregations in Batangas City, Bauan, Rosario, San Juan, Ibaan, Lipa, and soon in Tanauan (this October). Bauan cong. is newly planted. And Tanauan will soon have one too.

In Quezon Province, we started to send students when we’re requested. There was one baptized lady who wants to worship in her home. Three more were baptized since then. This October 5-6, a medical mission is scheduled for us to have more prospects in the city. Church there is struggling. 2-3 students go there every Sunday afternoon.

In Rizal,I am beginning to be involved. A brother who was an inmate at the Bureau of Corrections, now live in the area. Just last week, he invited me to visit. I met the owner of a large land and he propose that we can own a portion for a church lot. In fact there is already an unfinished building that we can continue and use it for a meeting place. These are my involvement in the Lord’s work I this part of the globe at present. I expect more opportunities of planting churches in places where there is none. I pray the Lord will continue to use me. And I pray the brethren will continue to pray for us and continue to support our mission.

WE HAVE ONE EMERGENCY NEED BRETHREN. PLEASE HELP US IN THE ALLOWANCES OF OUR STUDENTS AT C.P.I. WE NEED $400/MONTH.BUT ANY AMOUNT WILL BE APPRECIATED. PLEASE CHECK www.aicpcg.blogspot.com and know about the school.

May God bless us all as we labor in His vine yard.

ASIAN INSTITUTE OF CHURCH PLANTING AND CHURCH GROWTHENDS AND BEGINS SEMESTER

AICPCG ended the first semester of 2007 on Octo.19 with flying colors. The 1st semester was a tough one. First reason was of course finances, but it is more than finances that administration and teachers went through. Three-hour a week teaching load and with the additional hours of preparation and travel time (especially during rush hours) is not an easy job for the volunteer teachers who already have their own rounds and schedules to make in their own ministries. Teachers encountered problems with students too and solved it of course.
The semester ended with eight (8) students in Batangas campus and five (5) students in Cavite campus. Batangas campus started with ten students. One dropped as early as before the prelims because he has to attend to many responsibilities. The other one was asked to choose between his studies and his other “interest”. in the later part of the semester. He opted to quit like Demas did when he was with Paul in Rome . One brother in Dasmarinas campus had problems at the very start. And the other one had problems just a month before the semester ends. This is the first semester that the school operated, and so with all the first things experienced by the administration and teachers the semester went well.
This October, the school finally had the right to the building it uses in Batangas when the amount of PhP12,000.00 was deposited for two months deposit and one month rent.
Second semester has started. This time there are only four (4) full-time students in Cavite campus. Part-time students are expected to join in the second week. An apprenticeship program will also start with one who graduated a two-year program from a Bible school. Jhun Michael Pague will work with Imus congregation under the apprenticeship program of the AICPCG.
AICPCG Batangas campus has more students this semester. Seven (7) new students and one (1) transferee were accepted. Two (2) more from Batangas City may enroll. Our very energetic and aggressive co-teacher (“illegal recruiter”), Jules Jones, is responsible in recruiting the students. The students are mostly from Batangas but one is from Sariaya, Quezon and another one is from Oriental Mindoro. The transferee is from Bataan .
With the number of enrollees this semester, the Lord has opened more doors of opportunities for church planting in the three (3) provinces from where the students come from.
The school wants to partner with congregations in training men to preach and do church planting. If interested, please communicate. Please pray that the semester will be a fruitful one for the students and the school.

MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!!!!!

March 3, 2008

Inyong kapatid,

BONIFACIO PATRICIO Jr.

JULES RYAN S. JONES

JULES RYAN S. JONES
Teacher, Jules Jones passed away

Jules Ryan Scott Jones

Feb. 16, 1973-March 10, 2008

We were indeed shocked of the passing away of our good brother and co-laborer in God's Kingdom, Jules Ryan S. Jones. On March 10 of the present year while playing basketball with a student and former student against a team in a barangay road which served as their half court, he suffered a heart attack. He was brought to the nearest hospital where he was tried to be revived but didn’t make it.

Bro. Moises Gonzales, a co-preacher, was informed and was still in shock when he called this writer. He then went to the hospital and cried like a baby when he saw Jules body, lifeless. Many of the brothers and sisters who were in the hospital at that time, expressed the same grief. Bro. Ado Moises, even wished, that he’s the one dead and not Jules. (He reasoned out that Jules is doing many things for the Lord).Bro. Doming Camag-anacan, desperately tried to wake up Jules.

Just a week earlier, Jules, Moises and this writer were talking about plans on how the students will spend their fieldwork. (We all teach at the Phil.International Bible Institute-Batangas. He told us of his plan to move to the other town, where the new church is, so that he can do more for the new congregation. .

Jules a few years back, texted this writer ( He received a pamphlet where World Bible School and this writer’s mobile number were written) and asked if he can enroll in the World Bible School. He also said that he wants to study in a Bible school. He was told that there is a Bible school where he can enroll. He was also instructed to meet bro.Moises who lives close to his place. He and a friend, Ado Moises, visited bro. Moises, who also encouraged him to enroll at the Bible school in Angeles. On that same year, he enrolled at Phil.Int’l.Bible Institute-Angeles (PIBI-A). and later transferred to PIBI-Olongapo where he graduated just last year.

He was in his second year at the Bible school when he started to plant the church in his place, Rosario, Batangas. ( There were just three small congregations in the province). He asked for help of preaching brethren to accomplish this. And the Lord has blessed his effort. Now, there are around 60 adult Christians meeting in Rosario.

Last year when some preachers started the Asian Institute of Church Planting and Church Growth, Jules invited the group to have an extension school in Batangas. He was that persuasive that the leaders of the school gave their nod at his proposal. One semester was a sacrifice to the supporters of the school because of the financial restraints they had, but Jules was up to something else. He wants to recruit more students for the second semester. And because of the unavailability of fund, Jules proposed that bro.Charles Smith, director of three branches then of PIBI be asked for financial help..Again, the teachers agreed, and true enough Bro. Smith communicated with this writer saying he will help the school. Then the teachers decided that only ten students could be admitted but Jules again persistently suggested that eigth (8) more be admitted. And that happened. There were eighteen (18) students. (However, only Sixteen (16) of the students survived the semester).
Before, it was not understood, why he seemed to be in a hurry in doing things for the Lord. Now, it is understood. He went home so early.
At Jules death, some brethren asked what happens to Jules dreams for Batangas and neighboring provinces? (He dreams of a church in every town and city). This writer’s answer is, Jules left us with sixteen (16) students. They will pursue Jules dreams!

Jules will be missed in the school, in the church and in the community.

NOTE FROM B.C. PATRICIO JR.

August, 2007

Brethren,

Greetings.

Thank you very much for your prayers and financial support to ASIAN INSTITUTE OF CHURCH PLANTING AND CHURCH GROWTH.

We have started classes last June 18,2007. The first grading period is over and we are evaluating our students.

We now have seven full-time students and three pat-time students in Cavite .We have nine students in Batangas.

We have opened the school for 2007 first semester first year even if we don’t have enough fund. We are hoping that the Lord will provide.

We are grateful to our teachers who have dedicated themselves in training these young men for the ministry.

In His service,

BONIFACIO C. PATRICIO JR.
